Landmark survey of the emerging legal profession underway

ALPMA (Australasian Legal Practice Management Association) and CLI (Centre for Legal Innovation at The College of Law) have joined together to undertake what is believed to be one of the most comprehensive surveys of the emerging professions in legal practice in Australia.

The objective of the survey is to gather empirical data on how work has changed in the profession and whether or not this has given rise to a number of emerging professions in law firms and legal departments in areas other than law.

We anticipate the results will provide data that supports law firms and legal departments in their strategic and business planning, business and staff modelling, and talent management.

A report summarising the survey results will be made public in April.

Anyone wishing to participate in this important research can access the survey here. The survey will be open until Monday 12 February 2018.
