Calling for CLI Distinguished Fellowships Expressions of Interest 2021/22

Published on 25 October 2021

The Centre for Legal Innovation has three new Distinguished Fellowship positions open in AUSTRALIA for 2021/22. Details about the CLI Distinguished Fellowships can be found here

We are particularly interested in projects that will advance knowledge of (learning), application in (experience), or transformation of legal practice in your chosen project area.

For the 2021/22 round of Distinguished Fellowships, CLI will give preference to projects that focus on the current and future application of:

  • blockchain in legal practice
  • digital contracting (including visual contracting, contracts as code, contract life cycle management, self-help/DIY contract platforms, etc.)
  • ethics and the role of lawyers in the evolution of artificial intelligence

Fellowships can begin at any time and typically run for one year. Fellows are paid a stipend.

Fellows are engaged as independent contractors, need to be permitted to work in Australia, and must have an ABN.

If you are interested in applying for a Distinguished Fellowship, please express your interest (EOI), provide brief proposed project details and your contact details here

This 2021/22 round of EOIs will close at 5pm AEST on 25 October 2021.

Please note, your EOI is NOT an Application Form. Additional documentation will be required if you are invited to apply for a Fellowship.

If you would like to discuss this further before you submit your EOI, please contact CLI Executive Director, Terri Mottershead: CLI@collaw.edu.au.
