CLI is delighted to announce the launch of Research Fellow Denise Doyle’s survey on The Use of Data in the Legal Practice. The survey can be found here.
Please take a little time to complete the survey. It will close to responses on 31 August. It would be amazing to hear from as many of you as possible.
Denise will author a Report summarising the survey findings. This will be made available to everyone free of charge from the CLI website.
The survey is part of a broader research project being undertaken by Denise during her Fellowship focussing on:
- identifying what, how and why data is used in the legal industry
- analysing its impact
- understanding and explaining why the legal industry has been slow to adopt data analysis
- investigating if there is a correlation between the slow adoption of data analysis in legal practice and the way lawyers are trained.
