On 9 August 2019, the Centre for Legal Innovation held its third annual Innovation in Legal Practice Summit in Melbourne. The Opening Plenary addressed the question “Does the Future of Legal Practice Lie in Cracking the Collaboration Code?” and was facilitated by Nyk Loates, Director – U-Collaborate, KPMG Innovate. In this session, Nyk identified the key components of effective collaboration, discussed how it underpins the work he does at KPMG, and why it is an integral part of developing legal AI and transforming the legal industry.
