The Centre for Legal Innovation launched its Roundtable Series in Perth on 20 February 2017. In 2017, Roundtables will be held in Australia, New Zealand and Asia - Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland, Wellington, Singapore and Hong Kong. These are invitation-only facilitated events that involve lawyers, legal professionals, legal associations, and legal industry consultants.
Participants are encouraged to attend with the intention of entering into candid discussion, sharing their experience and asking questions of each other in the course of the two hours they spend together. These conversations remain private with participants encouraged to continue to strengthen their network through connections made at the Roundtables and joining a dedicated CLI Legalpreneurs Roundtable LinkedIn Group.
In 2017, Roundtable Series participants will discuss and debate these topics:
- Innovation (whatever that means!) and its Impact on Legal Practice;
- Cybersecurity and Legal Practice - Who is responsible for what, when, where, how and why?; and
- Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice - All Hype or a 'New Work' reality?
If you would like to join one of the Roundtable discussions, please contact the Centre’s Director, Terri Mottershead: firstname.lastname@example.org.
