There were two sessions (one in the morning and afternoon) on “So You Want to be an AI/ Legal Tech Start-Up – Here’s what you need to know!” These sessions featured legalprenuers David Bushby, Managing Director, Lexoo Australia (session moderator:); Claudia King, CEO and Founder, Automio, New Zealand; Dom Woolrych, CEO, LawPath; Demetrio Zema, Founder and Director, Law Squared; Natalia Crnomarkovic, Oceania Law Technology Leader, Director, EY (session moderator); Fiona Kirkman, Co-CEO and Legal Co-Founder, LawSwitch; Tim Kirkman, Co-CEO and Technical Co-Founder, LawSwitch and Michael Pattison, Founder, ContractProbe. Participants shared in the journey of each of these amazing legal start-ups and the legal problems their products were developed to solve. Participants at the session also had the opportunity to speak with each of the presenters in huddles, identify common questions and themes in the use and application of legaltech and share insights with each other in a large group setting too. This video captures the presentations by the legalprenuers but not the conversations between participants.
