We’ve all read the headlines and many of us experienced a cyber-attack. It’s no longer a questions of IF you are going to be hacked, it’s WHEN and then, WHAT to do about it once it happens! This is the reality in business today and legal businesses are no different. Cybersecurity is no longer (if it ever was) an IT thing, it’s a business continuity, strategic and operational priority for every business.
In this series, cyber security specialist and CLI Legalpreneurs Lab Geeky Guru, David Williams from FortiTech and Matthew See, Manager, Sales Engineering, APAC, WatchGuard Technologies, Inc. (in most of these sessions), step us through the cybersecurity life cycle and the big and small issues that you need to know along the way. You’ll become familiar with new terminology, understand how, where and when you might be at risk, and, most importantly, what you can do to best protect your business before, during and after a breach. This series is user friendly and super practical!
You can start the series at the beginning and work through to the end or, choose one of the videos on the topic at the top of your priority list – wherever you start and end, you’ll find loads of practical tips to support your digital strategy as well as your risk management, incident management and business continuity plans. You’ll also know the questions you need to ask and answer when you contact your cybersecurity insurer.
Just like the subject matter itself, this series will continue to evolve. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions on topics you would find helpful - please contact us at CLI@collaw.edu.au.
